AlaskAdvantage Education Grant

Awards $500 – $4,000 (multiple, renewable awards)

Who’s Eligible: For Alaska students with a financial need. Students must attend a qualifying post-secondary educational institution in Alaska.

Alaska Engineering Education Foundation (AEEF) Scholarship

Awards $500 – $4,000

Who’s Eligible: For high school seniors working toward a degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited engineering program.

Alaska Performance Scholarships

Awards vary. Multiple renewable awards

Who’s Eligible: For Alaska high school students pursuing an Alaska postsecondary education. There are two types of  Alaska Performance Scholarships (APS), the Collegiate Award and the Career and Technical Education Award.

Alaska Space Grant Program

Award varies

Who’s Eligible: For students majoring in science, technology, engineering or mathematics (STEM) or STEM education fields who are attending or planning to attend Alaska institutions of higher education.

Fukunaga Scholarship Foundation (Hawaii)

Awards up to $20,000 (multiple awards)

Who’s Eligible: For students from Hawaii working toward a career in Business. A minimum GPA of 3.0 is required.

Hawaii Community Foundation Scholarships

Awards $6,200 (multiple awards)

Who’s Eligible: This foundation offers many different scholarships, many offered to those in Hawaii who plan to attend an accredited two- or four-year college or university as either an undergraduate or graduate student

The Hawaii Education Association (HEA) Teacher Scholarship

Awards $2,000 (two awards)

Who’s Eligible: Student teachers who want to work with the Hawaii State Department of Education. Students must be enrolled in a State Approved Teacher Education Program as full-time undergraduate or post-baccalaureate candidates in any state-approved or nationally accredited institution. Those enrolled in a Hawaii SATE alternative licensure program may also apply.

OHA Native Hawaiian Scholarships

Who’s Eligible: Native Hawaiians seeking vocational certificates, undergraduate and graduate degrees, These scholarships offer non-traditional Native Hawaiian students help with a post-secondary degree or vocational education.

The R.W. “Bob” Holden Scholarship (Hawaii)

Who’s Eligible: For students enrolled as full-time juniors or seniors at a U.S.-accredited university or college majoring in hotel management. Minimum GPA 3.0
