Jobs You Can Get With A BBA

A Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree prepares students for a variety of entry to mid-level positions in various industries. Graduates holding BBA degrees commonly find jobs in marketing, finance, sales and management, but the degree can be applied to nearly any area of business. If you’re interested in a particular industry or want to carry over your experience from the military, you can designate a specialization within your degree program, such as operations management, information technology, finance, or human resource management.

Our suggestion: Utilize your military experience to help you specialize! Most others in your BBA program are straight out of high school and don’t have the leg up of years of real world experience under their belt. 

Salary

An entry-level business administrator can expect to make a salary around $47,824. Experience will only make this number go up. Furthermore, the more experience you have, the higher positions BBA degree holders can land which also bring with them more responsibilities and more money. This is a great degree program for student veterans looking to provide for their families because of the growth and benefits that come along with jobs that BBA students land.

A Day In The Life

Generally, business administrators work in an office during normal office hours of 8-5pm. A business administrator must oversee a company or organization’s activities in a specific area and ensure it is working efficiently. Daily activities include, but are not limited to: Create short & long term business plans and strategies for increasing sales; Represent the company to clients and other businesses during sales and negotiations; Review and evaluate budget proposals; Coordinate daily activities and facilitate communication between departments and employees.
