Large GI Bill Population
It goes without saying that a school that has more experience with GI Bill users, is automatically going to be more experienced and better equipped to serve those students.
MSU’s almost 1,000 GI Bill users is a testament to this university knowing what they’re doing. Furthermore, the more GI Bill students a university has, the more need there is to have staff who’s entire job is to specifically take care of the needs of those students.
Impressive SVA Chapter
As one of the largest student organizations on campus, the MSU SVA chapter focuses on what they can do to makes things better for the student veteran, dependent and what they can do to give back to the community that supports them in so many ways. Explore what MSU’s SVA chapter has been up to recently on their Facebook page.
Credit For Military Experience
Not all universities offer the opportunity for military affiliated students to use their diverse knowledge from military experiences & apply it toward college credit. MSU does! The university also accepts CLEP exam scores to help students get ahead. Starting a degree program with college credit under your belt is a great way to start your degree program on the right foot. (Just another example of how Mississippi State University’s veteran services are working hard for the student population!)
