The objective of undergraduate programs are to prepare its graduates for managerial positions in the senior living industry.  This degree program does not require a medical or nursing degree as there is no patient care involved. Yet, it does relate to the medical field of serving the active senior population. University of Central Florida offers a Senior Living Management Bachelor of Science degree. There are two programs, one offered fully online and the other as a traditional, campus-based program. The online Senior Living Management BS is the first of its kind in Florida, offered as a joint interdisciplinary effort with the Department of Health Management and Informatics in the College of Community Innovation and Education and Aging Studies. Graduates in this program will earn a Certificate in Hospitality from Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration in addition to their USC Master of Arts in Senior Living Hospitality.
