English Degrees for Military & Veterans

A Degree in English provides students with a great foundation in academics and for a wide variety of future careers. Writing and effective communication are fundamental skills required in every industry. Students earning a Degree in English can pursue successful careers in any industry yet are especially desired in careers such as:

A degree in English can commonly be found as a Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD program. There is an abundance of campus-based, online, and hybrid degree programs across the entire US. There are also a large number of accelerated programs allowing students to earn two English degrees in a short amount of time.

Many schools offer a Certificate in English. Take note that certificate programs in English are typically not holistic English education encompassing writing, reading, literature studies, and communication skills. Associate Degree in English

An Associate Degree in English will offer students a variety of courses in writing, literature, and grammar. From basic sentence structure to advanced studies in Shakespeare, classes should stimulate the mind and improve students’ communication skills.
