Getting a Degree in Neuroscience
Bachelor’s Degree in NeuroscienceA Bachelor’s Degree in Neuroscience will help students develop the knowledge and skills necessary to evaluate relationships between the brain and human behavior. Students will solidify their core knowledge base of neuroscience and its related fields of study while exploring relevant emerging concepts and methodologies.
Graduates are likely to pursue careers degrees in health-related fields including mental health services or biomedical research. Graduates may also pursue advanced degrees in neuroscience or related disciplines.
Master’s Degree in Neuroscience
A Master’s Degree in Neuroscience will allow students to delve deeper into the brain and human behavior. Students will demonstrate a broad knowledge of neuroscience methods, theories, and findings. Graduate students learn and test theories through scientific reasoning, laboratory experiences, and independent research. Additionally, students are expected to pick at least one specialty field of interest to demonstrate deep knowledge in one specific area of neuroscience. Successful graduate students will also fine tune their research and communication skills.
