A degree in English can commonly be found as a Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD program. There is an abundance of campus-based, online, and hybrid degree programs across the entire US. There are also a large number of accelerated programs allowing students to earn two English degrees in a short amount of time.

Many schools offer a Certificate in English. Take note that certificate programs in English are typically not holistic English education encompassing writing, reading, literature studies, and communication skills.
