Getting a degree in Fashion Design is perfect for the creative student with a love of fashion and all things clothing and accessories. In order to pay for school, you may need to look for scholarships. Luckily there are quite a few for those majoring in fashion design or a similar subject. The Against the Grain Artistic Scholarship
Multiple recipients, $1,000
The Details: This scholarship provides financial assistance and promotion of Asian American college students that are pursuing a major in the performing visual arts, journalism, and/or mass communications. Students will receive $1,000 for tuition and fees. Students need to be high school seniors or college students that are enrolled full-time at an accredited US vocational junior college or 4-year college or university. They also need to demonstrate leadership abilities throughout participation in community service, extracurricular, and other activities.

Kids in the Arts Win Scholarship
Multiple recipients, the Amount varies
The Details: This scholarship is for three categories of students, 1) Metro Atlanta Adventist Academy students, K-12, 2) Metro Atlanta students 9-12, and university students in their 1st or 2nd year. In addition to the award, students will also receive mentorship. The scholarship was set up to honor the life of a friend, Kyle-Anthony Williams who supported young people with an affinity for the arts. The award is for students who want to pursue art as a career or as a constructive hobby.

#LiveLikeLyly Memorial Scholarship
Multiple recipients, $1,000
The Details: This scholarship is in honor of a special member of the ATG family, Lyly Koenig Mendez. It is to provide financial assistance and promotion of Asian American college students pursuing a major in fashion and/or graphic design. Students will need to be at least 25% Asian and/or Pacific Islander. Students will receive $1,000 for tuition and fees. Students need to be high school seniors or college students that are enrolled full-time at an accredited US vocational junior college or 4-year college or university.

CSA Stella Blum Students Research Grant
One recipient, $3,000
The Details: This scholarship is to assist the research of a current undergraduate or graduate student who is a member of the Costume Society of America and conducts original research in the field of North American costume. A student will receive $3,000 and an additional stipend of up to $600 as well as a day-of-presentation registration fee so the recipient can present the completed research at a CSA National Symposium.

The PAVE VMSD Scholarship
Multiple recipients, $1,500
The Details: This scholarship is for students in their 3rd or 4th year of a 4-year program, in their 2nd year of a 2-year program, or equivalent. They must be enrolled in a program working toward a degree in interior design, retail design, hospitality design, visual merchandising, UX design, architecture, engineering, or product design. Students have the choice of attending IRDC in Denver, CO, or receiving a $1,000 scholarship.

CBC Spouses Visual Arts Scholarship
Multiple recipients, $5,000
The Details: This scholarship is for full-time African American or Black students that are pursuing a degree in visual arts including fashion. Students need to exhibit leadership to be active in the community.

FSF Case Study Scholarship
Multiple recipients, Varies
The Details: The FSF (Fashion Scholarship Fund) scholarship applies to tuition, summer intern housing, study abroad, and more. Winners will be able to join the FSF Mentor Program and select a mentor, will be invited to the FSF Awards Gala in NYC, and have access to internships and full-time jobs. They will also be able to join the FSF Alumni Association. Students must be a full-time sophomore, junior, or senior that are enrolled in an FSF member school.
