STEM Scholarships for Women and Girls
Did you know that there are actually more women focusing on STEM majors than men overall? However, that is due to health professions such as nursing. There are not as many women in majors related to computers, engineering, and physical science which represent a large part of STEM fields. One thing that can help women in STEM to succeed is being able to have the money they need to pay for college.
STEM fields include Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics and are a huge growing area of focus for education and careers. Employment in STEM occupations has grown 79% since 1990. STEM jobs are expected to continue to grow 13% from 202027.
