Need to book a hotel? As a service member, veteran, or military family member, you have access to many different military discounts on hotels. If you are a student, you might also be able to find a student discount on your next stay. Here is a list of military discounts and student discounts on hotels.

Anaheim Hotels

Anaheim Hotels offers military discounts and cash back offers when you register with ID.me. Past military discounts have been as high as 60% off, but more recent promotions have offered cash back on credit card purchases.

Best Western Hotels

Best Western gets its name from the first properties being west of the Mississippi River, but today, they have over 4,100 hotels worldwide. There is a Best Western government/military rate. Best Western offers discounted rates to students who apply for the discount via Student Beans.

Choice Hotels

This chain offers government and military rates for those who show military or official ID at check in. Learn more at the Choice Hotels official site, this discount may vary depending on location.

Hilton Hotels

Hilton was founded in 1919 when Conrad Hilton bought his first hotel in Cisco, TX. Hilton offers a military discount on leisure stays and a discount to state, federal, and U.S. military employees at Homewood Suites, which is perfect for a PCS. Student Discount: Through ID.me, you can get student discounts at Hilton All-Inclusive Resorts.

HostelWorld

HostelWorld is the biggest and best hostel booking platform in the world. The company has over 17,000 hostels listed across over 170 countries worldwide. You can get a student discount through Student Beans.

Marriott Hotels

Marriot was founded in Washington D.C. in 1927. Marriott started with a root beer stand and then a hotel. Marriott offers discounted rates to active-duty military personnel and veterans. Motel 6

Motel 6 was started in 1960 by two commercial real estate contractors in Southern California. They went on a road trip and were disappointed by the lack of affordable lodging.

Priceline

You may qualify for savings on hotels when booking travel through Priceline. Past deals have included up to 60% off selected travel destinations when registered at Priceline’s Student Beans page.

Wyndham Hotels

Wyndham Hotels was founded in 1981 in Dallas, TX, and offers a 20% military discount via ID.me.

Hotels.com

At Hotels.com has offered both a military discount and a student discount but at press time the savings are presented in the form of cash back rather than a discount on your stay. Expedia

When arranging travel through Expedia you may qualify for discounted rates when booking hotels through this online travel broker.
