Captain Ernest W. Fox Perpetual Scholarship

Award: Past amounts have been awarded up to $2,000

Who’s Eligible: For qualified active duty Coast Guard, civil service employee personnel or their dependents at the Coast Guard Aviation Logistic Center.

The scholarship can be used for preparatory, collegiate, postgraduate, professional and vocational education, formal or informal training.

Coast Guard Foundation Scholarship: Enlisted Member Dependent Children – First Time Applicants

Awards: $1,000 – $5,000 (multiple awards)

Who’s Eligible: For children of active duty, retired, or active reserve Coast Guard members.

Coast Guard Foundation Scholarship: Enlisted Member Dependent Children – Returning Applicants

Awards: $1,000 – $5,000 (multiple awards.)

Who’s Eligible: For children of active duty, retired, or active reserve Coast Guard members who are returning/renewal applicants.

Coast Guard Foundation Enlisted Coast Guard Members Educational Grants

Awards: Multiple. Amount Varies

Who’s Eligible: Designed to assist eligible enlisted personnel in their academic or technical development by providing funding for tuition, fees, and miscellaneous expenses incurred in completing off-duty voluntary education.

Coast Guard Foundation Fallen Heroes Scholarship

Awards: Varies

Who’s Eligible: For enrolled college students, or college bound students who are currently unmarried dependent children of enlisted and commissioned men and women of the U.S. Coast Guard who lost their lives in Coast Guard land, air, or sea operations. Applicants must be under the age of 23 and working on their first undergraduate degree.

Deadline: Candidates may apply at any time.

Coast Guard Foundation Spouses of Coast Guard Members Scholarships

Awards: 10 awards of $2,000 each.

Who’s Eligible: For spouses of enlisted Coast Guard Members pursuing a degree or professional certificate.

Coast Guard Foundation Coast Guard Reserve Families Scholarship

Awards: Vary

Who’s Eligible: For both Reservists and their family members who are pursuing higher education to pay for things like books, lab fees, and technical equipment.

The Colona Scholarship

Awards: $4,000 dispersed in four annual $1,000 awards.

Who’s Eligible: For dependent children of enlisted members of the United States Coast Guard (active, retired, or reserve) who are pursuing a 4-year undergraduate degree and who carry at least a “C” average.

The Keller Scholarship

Awards: $1,000, multiple awards.

Who’s Eligible: For dependent children of members in good standing or who were members in good standing of the CWOA, United States Coast Guard at the time of their death. These scholarships are for higher education.
