The ACWA Scholarships
Awards $3,500 two awards
Description: For juniors attending an accredited, University of California or California State University at the start of the academic year covered by the scholarship. Applicants must be pursuing an undergraduate degree in a water resources-related field related to engineering, agricultural and/or urban water supply, environmental studies, or public administration.

The California Association of Collectors Scholarships

Description: For high school juniors and seniors who are enrolled in a California high school and enrolling in high education.

The Capture the Dream, Inc. Single Parent Scholarships
Awards $1,000
Description: For residents of one of the following counties: Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Solano, or Sonoma who are legal guardians of one or more children, are enrolled in an accredited California college or university, and can demonstrate financial need.

The Dance Discovery Scholarship
Awards up to $2,000 (multiple awards)
Description: For Southern California residents who are high school seniors and are studying at a dance or performing arts school, company, or studio. Must be U.S. Citizens.

Electronic Security Association Scholarships
Awards 1st place – $8,500, 2nd place – $3,500
Description: For California graduating high school seniors who have a father, mother, or natural guardian who is an active duty police officer, firefighter, paramedic, or EMT in California.

Growing Up Asian in America Scholarships
Awards vary (multiple awards)
Description: For K-12 students who are Chinese, Filipino, Indian, Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese, and other Asian, Pacific Islander or multiracial Asian who live in Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Solano or Sonoma County, and who have not won for the same grade level and the same category in previous years.

The Harold Johnson Law Enforcement Scholarship
Awards up to $5,000
Description: For current graduating seniors or graduates of a public or private high school in the greater San Francisco Bay Area (includes San Francisco, San Mateo, Marin, Alameda, Contra Costa, Santa Clara, Napa, Solano, Sonoma, Monterey Bay, Santa Cruz, Monterey and San Benito counties) who are planning to enroll, or are currently enrolled in a two or four-year colleges, universities or police academies as a full-time student. Must be U.S. Citizens and have a minimum GPA of 2.5.

Description: For graduating high school seniors and community college students in the San Fernando Valley. These scholarships are not based on GPA, but rather on the student’s involvement in community service and volunteerism performed outside of that required by the schools.

The Stay in School Scholarship Program by the LA Clippers

Description: For college-bound seniors residing in the greater Los Angeles area who are planning to attend a four-year college.

The Tang Scholarship
Awards vary. Four scholarships awarded.
Description: For self-identified as Asian/Pacific Islanders who are gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender; (at least 25% API ancestry), involved in the GLBT community, graduating from a high school in one of the nine Bay Area counties; Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara County, Napa, Sonoma or Solano and enrolling full time in an accredited two, four-year university or graduate school; (college, university, community college or vocational school). Must be a U.S. citizen and demonstrate both financial need and academic promise. (Minimum GPA of 3.0)
