If you are majoring in industrial engineering or a similar field, you will want to find ways to help pay for school. Luckily, there are plenty of scholarships out there. Here is a list of scholarships for industrial engineering majors looking to enroll in military-friendly colleges or other institutions.
The SPE Foundation Scholarships
Multiple recipients, Varies
The Details: The SPE Foundation offers many scholarships. To qualify, students must be full-time undergraduate students in a two or four-year program or enrolled in a graduate program. They must also be majoring in or taking courses that are beneficial to a career in the plastics or polymer industry, including industrial engineering, and be in good academic standing. The Carrie Fox Solin Blow Molding Division Scholarship and the Willi Müller Blow Molding Division Scholarship could be good options for an industrial engineering major.

The Airgas Jerry Baker Scholarship
One recipient, $2,500
The Details: This scholarship is for undergraduate students who are pursuing a minimum four-year bachelor’s degree in welding engineering or welding engineering technology. Priority will be given to students who are interested in pursuing a career with an industrial gas or welding equipment distributor ,as well as to students who have a financial need, and those living in Alabama, Georgia, or Florida.

Dwight D. Gardner Scholarship
Multiple recipients, Up to $4,000
The Details: This scholarship is through IISE. It is available to undergraduate students enrolled at any school in the US, its territories, Canada, or Mexico. The school must have an accredited industrial engineering program, or equivalent, and the student must be pursuing industrial engineering.

Henry and Elisabeth Kroeze Memorial Scholarship
$1,000
The Details: This scholarship is through IISE. It is available to undergraduate students that are enrolled in any school in the US, its territories, Canada, or Mexico. The school must have an accredited industrial engineering program, or equivalent and the student must be pursuing industrial engineering. Priority is given to students who have demonstrated an interest in metrication, engineering, and computer science.

Marvin Mundel Memorial Scholarship
One recipient, $1,000
The Details: This scholarship is through IISE. It is available to undergraduate students who are enrolled in any school in the US, its territories, Canada, or Mexico. The school must have an accredited industrial engineering program, or equivalent, and the student must be pursuing industrial engineering. Priority is given to students who have demonstrated an interest in work measurement and methods engineering.

Science Ambassador Scholarship
Multiple recipients, Varies
The Details: Students must film a 3-minute video explaining a STEM topic they are passionate about. The scholarship is open to women who are high school seniors or undergraduate college students. Students need to be majoring in a STEM subject. This scholarship is funded by Cards Against Humanity.

Auxiliary Legacy Scholarship
One recipient, $5,000
The Details: To apply for this scholarship, students need to be an NSPE (National Society of Professional Engineers) member or a student member. They must also be female, enrolled in a 4-year ABET-accredited engineering program, and entering or continuing their junior year.

The Maureen L. and Howard N. Blitman P.E. Scholarship to Promote Diversity in Engineering
One recipient, $5,000
The Details: This scholarship is for high school seniors from an ethnic minority who have been accepted into an ABET-accredited engineering program at a 4-year college or university. The winner would receive $2,500 in the fall and then $2,500 in the spring.

A.O. Putnam Memorial Scholarship
One recipient, $1,300
The Details: This scholarship is through IISE. It is available to undergraduate students who are enrolled in any school in the US, its territories, Canada, or Mexico. The school must have an accredited industrial engineering program, or equivalent, and the student must be pursuing industrial engineering. Priority is given to students who have demonstrated an interest in management consulting.
The Deadline: November

C.B. Gambrell Undergraduate Scholarship
One recipient, $1,300
The Details: This scholarship is also through IISE and is available to undergraduate industrial engineering students who are US citizens, have graduated from a US high school, and have a class standing above freshman in an ABET-accredited IE program. There will be one $2,000 scholarship.
