Alan and Jane Handler Endowed Scholarship (the University of Rochester, Rochester, NY)

Awards full tuition, fees, room and board, books, $5,000 in enrichment funding, mentoring, personal expenses, and transportation to one percent of each incoming class. (Multiple awards)

Description: For students who demonstrate academic excellence, high financial need, potential to be future leaders, and demonstrated mastery of complex challenges.

Deadline: All first-year applicants are automatically considered, and nominations from high school and independent counselors, teachers, and community-based organization officials are open in early September and close mid-October.

The Cunniffe Presidential Scholarship (Fordham University, New York, NY)

Awards full tuition, room & board, and fees all 4 years on top of a maximum of $20K to use for academic enrichment experiences.

Description: Fordham Freshman applicants who have demonstrated outstanding academic performance, leadership, and community service. Freshman applicants with outstanding academic performance and are all automatically considered for this scholarship.

The Jefferson Scholarship (University of Virginia, Charlottesville, VA)

Awards full tuition, fees, books, supplies, room and board, personal expenses, and includes an enrichment program. (Multiple Awards)

Description: For high-achieving students who are nominated by eligible schools.

Deadline: Priority is in December and the final deadline is in January.

The Johnson Scholarship (Washington and Lee University, Lexington VA)

Awards tuition, room and board, and funding up to $7,000 to support summer experiences  (Multiple Awards)

Description: For 10% of each year’s incoming class. Selections are based on academic achievement, demonstrated leadership, and potential to contribute to the intellectual and civic life on campus and of the world.

The Nordenberg Scholars Program (University of Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh, PA.)

Awards full tuition for eight terms which may include one international experience as well as assistance with securing internship positions throughout their time at Pitt. (Up to 5 awards.)

Awards $5,000

Description: For high school seniors who have participated in the Stock Market Game, or undergraduates who are currently sophomore or junior business majors with a concentration in finance or economics and who are enrolled at a four-year state-sponsored or private college or university.

Stephen Joel Trachtenburg Scholarship (George Washington University, Washington, D.C.)

Description: For freshman applicants who are D.C. residents and attended High School in Washington, D.C. Must be nominated by a high school counselor.
